Sponsor Stove Works!

For the last five years, we have worked tirelessly to support Artists and to position Contemporary Art as essential in catalyzing conversations about the personal, local, and global events we move through as individuals and as a community.

There are countless ways that you can support these conversations through sponsorship: Program, Project, and Event Sponsorship. [Scroll past form for more information!]

If you’d like to know more about what we’ve accomplished over the last few years, check out our Half Decade Report.

Let us know what piques your interest, and we’ll follow up with you!

Exhibitions

Our Exhibitions program draws from diverse geographies, materials, and practices. In the last 5 years, Stove Works has exhibited more than 480 Artists in over 84 different exhibitions.

Learn more about our Exhibitions

  • Main Gallery: Primary Gallery Space at Stove Works (5,400 sq ft). The main gallery is the site of 3 guest curated exhibitions each year: two are curated by national emerging Curators and the other, RED DOT, is curated by a regional Curator of Artists-in-Residence that stayed on site over the last year.

Side Galleries: The Side Spaces (1,300 sq. ft.) primarily house one or two-person exhibitions or group shows organized by regional organizations.

The Library: The Library (500 sq. ft.) is reserved for month-long shows organized by Artists or Curators in the 17-county area surrounding Chattanooga. The Library has become the best way for Chattanooga’s Arts community to have an authorship stake in our programming.

  • Guest Curators (2 Exhibitions annually) allow us to maintain diverse perspectives touching on relevant issues in Contemporary Practice. The program is a rare opportunity that provides emerging curators the space, support, and resources to gain professional experience, propelling their careers forward.

The Side Spaces (4 - 5 exhibitions annually) primarily house one or two-person exhibitions or group shows organized by external organizations and our exhibition team.

The Library (10 exhibitions annually) is reserved for short-term shows organized by Artists or Curators in our community. The Library has become the best way for Chattanooga’s arts community to have an authorship stake in our programming.

Please see our exhibition page for upcoming exhibitions.

Residency

From February through November of each year, our residency serves as a moment away from the rigamarole of life and an opportunity for Artists to take advantage of the dedicated time, space, resources, and community we offer.

Learn more about our Residency

  • The Communal Workspace (2,000 sq. ft.) is a large space in the workshop area for residents to test bigger ideas and work collaboratively. It also doubles as a space for film screenings, presentations, and performances as needed.

The Woodshop (1,000 sq ft) is stocked with equipment that aids in the creation of sculptural works by our Artists-in-Residence.

The Metal Shop (500 sq ft) is stocked with equipment that aids in the creation of sculptural works by our Artists-in-Residence.

The Printshop (1,200 sq ft.) gives access to letterpresses, exposure units, and other printing methods that allows our Artists to explore different techniques in printmaking. Much of our equipment is provided through a partnership with Open Press

  • We host up to 60 Artists on-site each year. Options include sponsoring one artist for a month or an entire studio for the year!

  • Each month, we ask outside arts professionals to do studio visits, providing feedback and dialogue about our Artist’s work.

Events (RED DOT)

RED DOT is our annual fundraiser that celebrates both our work and the Artists we support! Each year, we anticipate over 300 attendees. The highlight of the evening is the opening of our Resident Review exhibition. In addition to the incredible works on view, we’ll have performances, a photobooth, tunes, an award for best dressed, abundant food and drinks, and more!
