On Friday, August 7th from 6 -8, we launch our Fall exhibition program! We’re deviating from our usual style of opening! Artist Desmond Lewis will be roasting veggies. We’ll have words from the Curator, Charlie Farrell. Patrick Thompson, a Highland Park neighbor, will be providing BBQ and sides. And we’ll have music!
Radical Rage, curated by Charlie Farrell, explores rage as a starting point for an artist’s interventions. Rage can be a destructive emotion, something that sits and smolders. Something that is explosive and furious. This exhibition posits rage as a generative catalyst, the start of change. Rage can be imaginative and positive and necessary.
Upstairs and Left Down the Stairs is a group show of Artists and Community members who are a part of Saint Andrew’s Center in Highland Park.
In Bloom, organized by Scenic City Clay Arts, explores personal journeys of becoming and challenges the idea that growth has to be neat, linear, or “perfect.” Think of it like the life cycle of a flower—bud to bloom—but with your own twist on what blooming actually looks like.

2$ON The Prince (previous Stove Works resident) will be performing with Noah Prince on bass, Adam Stone on guitar, and John Hooker on drums. 2$ON The Prince is a hip-hop artist who blends jazz and alternative hip-hop, creating a unique sound that inspires listeners to engage in higher thinking and goal-setting.
