Animal, Stone, River: Writing Paradise Through the Body

  • Stove Works 1250 East 13th Street Chattanooga, TN, 37408 United States (map)

Join us for a workshop scheduled in conjunction with our current exhibition, Paradise.

Please Note: This is a hybrid-virtual event with international participation. This program is open to all virtually, a demonstration of queerness’ presence around the world. If you are local to Chattanooga, please join us at Stove Works for this event to help activate the exhibition! Virtual participants will be projected into the space.

Through a gentle guided meditation and intermittent writing, we will explore how paradise might emerge in the inevitability of decay and renewal. Here we imagine the process of Transformation as the movement of grief through the body and earth. We approach this journey by returning to the animal and elemental selves that we come from and to which we return.

This 2-hour hybrid-virtual workshop is for all experience levels.
