My Favorite Bowl Has Cracks | A Ceramics Exhibition
Scenic City Clay Arts invites you to the opening reception of My Favorite Bowl Has Cracks, a thought-provoking ceramics exhibition that explores the intersection of utility and concept. On Friday, September 5 from 5-7 PM, join us for an evening of art and community as we debut this powerful collection of ceramic work from across the world. Drinks available at the event, donations encouraged.
Featuring all types of ceramics, this show highlights utilitarian forms that are rich in meaning—whether personal, cultural, political, or emotional. These pieces challenge traditional ideas of function, inviting us to consider how the everyday objects we use carry stories, provoke thought, and shape experience.
Can’t make the reception? The exhibition will be on view at Stove Works from September 5–27, 2025 during regular gallery hours. Stop by anytime throughout September to see the work and reflect on the stories these vessels hold.
Exhibition Dates: September 5th, 2025 - September 27th, 2025
