The title for this year’s resident review is The Time Being. So, for all you time travelers, this provides easy inspiration for your wardrobe! For everyone else, think time freeze, timelessness, crunch time, non-linear time, the cosmic timeline, time bandits, lost time, the land before time, or just come as your best past or future self! The potential is vast, yet the hand of time keeps ticking closer to Dec 5th!
About the Exhibition:
The Time Being, curated by Nandini Makrandi and Lauren Nye, celebrates the unique community cultivated at the Stove Works residency in 2025. The featured artists, writers, and performers stepped outside of their home studios to reside here, exploring their craft, creating new work, and taking time away from their usual routines. This beautiful in-between period provided a blank canvas for ideas to grow, serving as a waypoint on their journey—if only for the time being. Here, we revisit the year’s residents and honor their impact on this space.
In addition to the incredible works on view, we’ll have tunes by DJ MC PRO, two performances from April Childers and GULL, food trucks, an award for best dressed, and more!
