Theresa Kereakes was one of Los Angeles's original 100 punks in the mid-1970s.  Theresa contributed most of the photos and co-published the lauded punk zine Lobotomy with Pleasant Gehman and the late Randy Kaye. They became friends with unknown or up-and-coming artists who have now become household names.  These friendships lead to a treasure trove of photos capturing these eventual stars up close in small clubs and in unguarded, casual situations. The only thing more interesting than the photos are the stories of how they came to be.  Those stories can be heard at Stove Works on September 30th at 5:30 PM.
