Screen Printing with Natalie Woodlock: Rubylith Stencils

This workshop will introduce the use of rubylith stencils into the screenprinting process. Rubylith is a clear film with a light-blocking "ruby" material on one side. By cutting away some of this ruby material with an exacto knife, you can create imagery for silkscreen. We will cut two rubylith stencils that overlap in some areas. By adding transparent base to our silkscreen inks, we will create a third, darker color where our stencils overlap. Please bring an image or photograph (up to 5" x 7") you would like to work from. We will create a small edition of three-color prints.
